HELP WITH A RELATIONSHIP CRISIS
A relationship crisis is accompanied by intense emotions, such as despair, blame and anger. What once gave you so much joy is now a low point. You are faced with a choice: break up or fight for the relationship. Especially when children are involved, you want to do everything you can to save the relationship, but you don’t know how.
WHEN TO GET HELP?
f you can't work the problems out together within a reasonable amount of time, it's important not to make hasty decisions but to call in outside help as soon as possible. If you wait too long, the damage is often too great and there is no way back. Before you rush the decision to split up, we will work together to create an overview of the problems and regain a grip on your relationship without obstructing emotions. Should you eventually decide that you are no longer right for each other, that will be a healthy, well-considered decision.
HOW IT WORKS
On average, the process takes three months. Two thirds of the sessions are 1 on 1, and one third of the sessions with both partners together. It is a very intensive process with conversations of about an hour and a half long, a lot of interactive homework and out-of-hours contact via e-mail or telephone.
The coaching sessions for a relationship crisis start with individual sessions in which both partners put themselves first. You are the foundation on which a strong, long-term relationship can be built. You will get an answer to the question 'how do I proceed now?', instead of 'why is this happening to me?'. Both partners have made their own choices to make the relationship what it has become. Partners will have to actively take responsibility for their own happiness and a happy relationship. Obstacles can be recognised, removed and avoided in the future.
